organizational team building

Henry Ford quote (2).png

Team building can be a tricky endeavor for many organizations. It's easy to get stuck in old patterns that no longer serve the greater good.

But there is a solution!

Through the Power of Play, employees learn to work toward a common goal while exploring self-awareness in a fun and safe space. Through facilitated improv games and exercises, I help teams large and small to:

  • Increase their confidence
  • Develop trust with one another
  • Create bonds
  • Increase team buy-in
  • Work towards a common goal
  • Cultivate leadership
  • Enhance creative thinking
  • Promote decision-making skills
  • Improve listening, observation, & communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Enhance collaboration skills
  • Expand spontaneity and staying in the moment
  • Reduce fear of risk-taking

Research has shown that improv can “promote spontaneity, intuition, interactivity, inductive discovery, attentive listening, nonverbal communication, ad‐libbing, role‐playing, risk‐taking, team building, creativity, and critical thinking.” (Crossan, 1998; Moshavi, 2001; Sawyer, 2004; Spolin, 1999).

Most Power of Play team-building trainings last two to three hours. However, trainings can be customized to suit your needs.
